How money works on Werkara
Posting a task is free for clients. You agree the price directly with your client and are paid directly — Werkara adds nothing on top for clients. For taskers, Werkara is currently free as well — right now we charge no service fee at all. In the future we plan to introduce a small service fee: as a small, AI-driven company we keep our costs low, so it will be around 5–10% — well below what most platforms charge. Any fee will always be shown clearly before you commit to a task. Taskers are independent providers and are responsible for their own taxes and insurance.

What does it cost me to join?
Registering and creating your profile is free — and right now Werkara charges taskers nothing at all. In the future we plan to introduce a small service fee, and the details will always be visible before you take a task.
How do I receive tasks?
Clients near you post tasks on Werkara. When a task matches your skills and area, you're notified wherever it suits you — in the app, on the website, by WhatsApp or by email. Every morning can start with a list of new tasks coming to you: send your offer on the ones you like and agree the details directly in chat.
How do I get paid?
Directly by the client, at the price you agreed together, after the work is done. Werkara does not stand between you and your money.
Do I need to be a registered company?
No — Werkara is open to solo freelancers, self-employed people and small businesses. You remain responsible for your own taxes and insurance, as with any independent work.
Where is Werkara available?
Werkara is available all over Switzerland — post and take tasks wherever you are. The app is available in German, French, Italian and English.
